I am finding TFLN more raunchier as days go by, but there are still the few funny ones that make me laugh out loud.. in the middle of class. This was one of them.

So I am in Bible class, New Testament to be exact, and I am bored. So Bored. -.- ..zZZ

I started my new lifestyle last night! And I say lifestyle because it is more than just a diet and a work out.. I have to grab life by the balls and make some permanent (yet realistic) changes.

Goals: work out every night. and by every night I mean 3-4 times a week. Eat healthier. [No more fast food!!! No Soda!!! NOTHING FRIED!!!! :: I am mainly pointing these specific things out because I need a reminder that I am doing this and not just saying I will] and thus lose weight before I go off to Hawaii, where apparently everyone and everything is beautiful (According to Megan.. Who has lived there forever, so I trust her judgment) ... I don't want to stick out like a fat sore thumb.. I have to at least look pretty.. I have 5 weeks.. Let's get this done.

Fantasticks opens in 4 days. Am I nervous? Surprisingly no. At least not for myself.. I am really excited.. I've never done this before.. well had a big part before, and it's really amazing. Now I am kind of nervous because a) some people don't have their songs and lines down.. I don't understand how this is possible.. but it is.. So hopefully they'll get their act together in the next week. b) I will know alot of people in the audience... and if they think I'm horrible well that's going to majorly suck. I would just like to add that our director is very precise on how she wanted these characters.. They didn't come from the actors minds.. no they arrived by way of Ronda. So don't judge me if you hate the characterization, I was just doing as I am told. But as long as I feel I am doing good I really hope I can get over what anyone else may think. :D

I am going to try and pay attention to my professor now... try being the key word.

Hello day from Tartarus. You suck. You know what else sucks? 1) Having your best friend go into labor and not being able to be there because you have rehearsal. 2) Thinking you were doing an okay job at publicizing for the musical and then finding out no one agrees with you. 3) Not knowing what to do or feel about things. I know, couldn't be more vague, but I don't particularly want to explain it.

At least I get paid this week.

After reading the first chapter in my History book I have concluded two things. 1) it might rain today 2) I need to buy gold star stickers.

Not that I don't find the paleolithic and neolithic eras to be completely stimulating. Oh I do. No doubt about it. I just had bigger things on my mind this morning, because if it starts raining I am screwed. I am wearing nothing suitable for rain. And the gold stars are for the Fantasticks posters which are incredibly important and need to be put up TODAY (my job).

Today is my cousins 21st birthday. Happy Birthday Matt!!! even though you probably will never read this nor will any of your family members.. but that is okay because I am going to say it again.. Happy 21st Birthday!! I haven't seen him since.. wow.. long time, but I miss him and hope he has a wonderful fantastick day!!! Yay.

Oh, and one more thing. So the fantasticks was going to run from Feb 2nd-7th. Now you are probably asking yourself why would any theatre company put on a show on Superbowl Sunday? Are they crazy??? No one will show up!!!! Well my dear friends.. WE ARENT!!!! the show dates are now Feb 2nd-6th!!!! SOOOOO that means that when the Vikings crush their opponents in the Superbowl I will be able to watch every minute of it!!!!! I did a little dance I am so excited. Yippeeeeee. And on that note.. have a great Wednesday!

First blog of the new semester.
Hello Spring Semester 2010.
Here is what I think of you:


-My new roommate is cool. Her name is Teagan (tee-ghan). Her favorite movie is Ever After. My favorite movie is Ever After. I don't see any problems in our future.

-I have no books for any of my classes yet. Hopefully I will know someone in each class that adores me and will let me borrow their books. It would be wondrous.

-I just want a New Moon Calendar. Why can't I find one already?

-My history professor is funny. Thank goodness for that because heaven knows I wouldn't pay attention otherwise. Here are some of the wittier things he said: (yes, I did write them down just so I could reflect back on them in my blog)
"We learn from our mistakes by studying the past. For instance, Pet rocks. Dumb Idea."
"If what Jesus did and said wasn't real, Paul said we should eat, drink, and be merry. I say head down to TJ and get wasted."
Like I said, funny. :)

-Had both of my Bible classes today. With the same professor. I think life of holiness will be fun. New Testament not so much. I will have to spend most of the class refraining from glaring at a certain someone and sending hateful thoughts in his direction. Stupid.

-Fantasticks go up in three weeks. On the plus side I am stoked. On the minus side our closing show is on SuperBowl Sunday (and if Vikings get in the superbowl I will be wearing their colors underneath my costume to show my support). On the plus side one of my really good friends from High school may come and see the show (I have missed him dearly). On the minus side I am still trying to figure out how to do all this PR stuff.

This turned into a list. Which has been happening quite a bit lately. Maybe 2010 will be the year of lists. Sounds good to me. By the way, one more thing. To anyone and everyone who thinks that replying in a text message with 'lol' or 'yeah' is a decent way to reply you are sadly mistaken. No one can continue on a conversation with those words. So man up and just say, 'I'm busy' or 'I don't feel like texting rite now' or whatever. Something beyond one word, vague, and nondescript replies thank you.
